Christopher Michael Casey, 18, a student at Huntington Beach High School, has been charged with a felony violation of Penal Code section 148.1(c) — making a false bomb threat. On December 14, 2012, Casey allegedly left a threatening note on a teacher’s desk and was arrested at school. Penal Code section 148.1(c) is a wobbler and the maximum jail time is three years prison to be served in the county jail, pursuant to Penal Code section 1170(h).
