Elementary Teacher Confesses to Creating Child Porn Music Video

July 17, 2019

Thomas Guzzi Jr., a 39-year-old elementary school teacher pleaded guilty to manufacturing child pornography and the distribution of 25 or more files of child pornography.  Guzzi confessed that in 2015 he hid cameras in the boy’s restroom at a summer theater camp to record teen boys urinating. Guzzi edited a music video together by merging the videos of the boys urinating and recordings of the same boys dancing for rehearsals.

Guzzi also claims to have taken a photo of a boy’s genitals while employed as a teacher for a different summer program. The nude recordings and photos of the boys in the music video originated from 3 hours of footage recorded in the restroom during the summer camp program. It was in 2016 when Guzzi was arrested during a child pornography sweep.

During this sweep, investigators located over 300 files of child pornography on his computer. Following his arrest, Guzzi was fired from the elementary school he was employed at, as well as his teaching license was revoked. Guzzi will be sentenced on September 27. The prosecution will recommend a 17-year prison sentence and that he has to serve at least 10 years before he will be eligible for parole. To learn more about child pornography, click here.
